a.k.a Aim'OKay Pofessional Art Director and Photographer
I grew up in Potsdam, Germany, near Berlin. The art scene in Berlin expresses itself in many different ways which you can also see in the diversity of my work. Thanks to my parents dedication, I attended one of the best high schools in my city which offered accelerated programs for music, science and languages.
After working for one year in an environmental oriented program, I began to study Mechatronics at the University of Applied Science in Brandenburg. My plans to move to LA became more and more serious so that I switched my major later to International Computer Science with an emphasis on Digital Media. Unfortunately this Bachelors program would not be recognized in other countries such as the United States. I decided to make the move and come to Los Angeles and I started my Design Communication Program at UCLA Extension. I have since graduated from the program at the end of 2009 with an Advanced Print & Graphic Communication Certificate, in addition to the Design Communication Arts certificate.
I am especially interested in Print and Publication, Entertainment design and Key Art as well as Advertising Design and finish/retouching. I have acquired many skills such as conceptual thinking, visual communication and technical skills from the UCLA program along with the University in Germany.
